***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Elwood - Sorry to hear about your computer. I lost one to a lightning strike a few years ago. Please post a link to the site where I can get a ladies hat, the feminine counterpart to your rugged chapeau. I've ordered a sun visor with a cap that zips on or off, very girly, but it would be nice to have something rugged I could wear, especially in bad weather.

Hi, I am new here and am looking for homes for a Bantam and a Barred rock rooster. The B.R. is very sweet and tame, the Bantam is a bit ornery! lol I adore them both, but can't have the crowing or the baby chicks, so they need new homes. I would like for them to go to someone that will love them as much as we do!! Thanks!!!
Welcome to BYC ...They have a new chicken sale starting in Cement at fair barn sat at 6.. lot's of BYCers will be ther i am sure an some kid's would love to have thim ..

Bscott thoughts & prayers for your family. Prayers are coming your way nation wide, if not world wide. Amazing how people have come from all over to help with the tornado stuff!

Mike good to see you posting. We will miss this Cement Auction, but should make the next. Got a few barnyard mix roos & of course keets.

Lost my 3rd guinea of the wk. 2 during the storm the other night & one today. I honestly think they are either getting beat to death by hail or they killed theirselves trying to get away from the storm. Crazy, Taron is not going to be a happy girl when she comes home from her visit with grandma. I am sure she is going to think we were not being good babysitters.

Haven't been on here in a while due to all the craziness of the storms. I will like to ask for prayers for my family. We lost my cousin Friday night due to the tornadoes that ripped through El Reno. He left behind 2 little boys. He also had 3 brothers. He was the baby of the family so it's definitely been a rough couple of days. On the upper hand, my last shipment of chicks came in last Wednesday. Barred Rocks. They're all doing really great. Also got our first bottle calf of the year.
I am so sorry!! Praying for you and the family- its all been incredible lately.

If anyone is interested, i have kittens ready for new homes, little tabby's and purrboats

I'm new too, been lingering for awhile. So sorry for very ones losses. We had a funnel pass over us twice Thursday, the first eventually touched down near Perkins. Yikes!
Anyway, I wanted to say hello. I hope I'll be seeing a lot of you lovely Okies.
Okieridge- we have some of your Salmon Marans and just love them, 16 weeks old now.

I'm still looking for good info on this breed if anyone can help.
Regards
