Hubby just asked me when I would be done incubating? How do I tell him I have an addiction?
No. At least they won't fit in mine. You problebly hear this all the time, but will silkie eggs fit in qual egg flats? Because I can not find a strait answer anywhere else.
Thank you
I reached for an epipen just looking at those pics!!!!!!!!![]()
It helps when all the pens are full.... all the brooders are full.... and there are still eggs in the incubator- I have started spacing my sets further apart and being more selective with what I set. I have a feeling we will have a BIG batch of birds to take to auction next month..... but at our house HUBBY is my enabler! Yikes we are in trouble!
Fun picture from last week- one of our hives swarmed into our fig plants, yes his friends call him the Bee Whisperer. Except if you know anything about bees you know he was in very little danger of being stung because they are in "swarm" mode! Easiest swarm we ever caught, the branch was so heavy with bees it drooped to the ground, so we placed the nuc box next to it with some built comb and they marched right in and made themselves at home!

glad they are getting rid of dogs. I sure do hope they pull thru.yep, that and some wonder dust, we will see what happens. the neighbor is getting rid of those 2 mutt dogs, im really thinking they got ambushed and pulled over the fence and threw the barbwire. bc i looked and looked, i really dont see how they could get ovet by there self. they will stand up and put there heads over the fence and threw the barbwire to eat the tall grass next door. but the wire is strung tight and close together, so theres no way they could jump over.
