Hey eddieokie. on the reply bar you'll see an icon of a picture. if you mouse over it it says "insert image" You have to upload from your computer. cut and paste doesn't work. others may have better directions.How do I post pictures
Betsy,I belong to an international guinea fowl organization, and some of the members report guineas living 12 years or more. I don't have any that old because we have a high predator load out here, and raccoons are smart and strong enough to foil many security attempts. You can train adult guineas to go into their secire/more secure pen at night with a little patience and diligence. My current flock will go in pretty much on their own in the late evening, and I can get them in at other times if I need to. They'll last many years longer if you can put them up at night. They do have good instincts about avoiding predators, but are definitely not infallible, and if left to free range completely will diminish one or two at a time if you have predators in your area.
