***OKIES in the BYC III ***

They just had one on Labor Day near my neck of the woods- potluck, games, raffle, etc.  There is another one in the spring, called POOPS (People of Oklahoma Poultry Swap) that has contests, potluck, raffle, etc.  Not sure if they will do it again next year but hopefully they will!

There might be another in November around Thanksgiving.

? do any of you know how much and how often a kitten with its eye's just open needs to eat .

Are you feeding? If so then be ready. It is alot like having a baby. About every two hours. Make sure they are laying on their stomach. Also make sure the milk mixture is not too hot.

there is about 40 cats always around from people dumping I found a small momma cat dead with 4 babies one live one but my cow dog I want to tie it to her collar

Do chickens eat crickets? Will crickets harm a chicken? The shop I work in have an abundance of crickets and I was thinking of collecting them and offering them the girls as a treat.

everything is ok. just do not have much time with the new job right now. been a weird summer.

it depends normally they would be fine but dose the shop spray for bug if they do the crickets could be poisoned.

I'm bored while waiting on fridge repair man to come back. Sharing garden and new girls pics.

Some type of white clematis vine that I've let overtake a couple of bushes and it has made it's way to a cypress tree that died last year. I was going to cut the tree down but would be cool if this vine overtook it all the way to the top. Has a sweet smell but I have to put my nose right on it to smell it. And last pic is of black feather grass I have let spread around my nearly wild rose flower bed.

Black Am I got from Rinda. She gave me the crazy one. LOL. She's only laid 2 blue eggs for me so far. Blue Wheaten Am I got from Stoney Creek is a sweet heart.

Derp! NN I got from Kass, love her purplish-red skin. She's also a sweet girl.

I put in 2 more roosts in chicken tractor. Plan on the 2 cockerels to be in the freezer in couple of months. I re-homed the asian gamefowl pullet. My coop builder will be home permanently in mid-October so hopefully we can get this darn thing done before end of year.
