we'll be here all day if you do end up in muskogee...nope on a greenbroke pony, my dad got me my first horse... a green broke range appy- NOT a good choice, finally sold him to a guy that wanted a roping horse, that horse was so spooky he couldn't be ridden...

I'm pretty sure you and I got the orpington's from the same lady in West Tulsa.. she was very nice and said if the chick turned out to be a cockerel she would let me trade for a pullet, but I just have too many anyway. I could do a 15-min or so drive away, my kids don't like to be stuck in a car for any length of time.

I asked the nighbor and he said he has too many Roos right now. I'm sorry, I thought for sure he would want him. Yes! That is the same lady lol! I bought 5 chicks and only one is a cockerel but I will keep him for our one and only roo. They are growing like weeds! She gave my kids a silkie each (3) and we ended up with two boys so now I have to find a home for one more and replace both with a girl.

Infact, our girl just got pecked by one of our hens and is now missing a little chunk of skin. Any one ever have a hen suddenly become agressive? We got rid of the roo and the one hen that was overly a faveorite is now fighting and picking on one of the other hens. She almost slept outside the coop last night (the picked on one) and when she goes in the coop the mean hen tries to pick a fight. It's DRAMA in the hen house! Would separating Ms. Moody from the other three hens help at all with her being a brat?

the pecking order changed so there will be shuffling- but when i have an agressor i bring a spray bottle of water when they go after someone i spray them, they dont connect where the water comes from only that it happens when they are a bully-

Yep, keep her away for 4 or 5 days and when she gets to go back the pecking order should be different
