So any thoughts on Poops for 2014? Taron announced she had a pocket full of money & was wanting some birds. I sad NO!!!! No more birds. She always has so many projects, goats start kidding this wk. Garden needs LOTS of tlc, and more other things than I can think of. I am ok with taking a season off from hatching. I know BYC will provide us with all the cute chicken pics we needed. Told her I would consider a peacock but that was all.... I do miss our peacock, not the peahen, just the pretty boy!

This wk I was wondering how much corrid can a chicken handle. The freerange ladies keep drinking the goats water. Vet told me to treat double cattle strength for the goats, those chickens should be covered well!

No discussion yet. Who organized it last year? I'm anxious about the date as I'll be unavailable the 1st and 3rd weekend of May. And hopefully it can be on a Sunday so Kass can attend.

Last yr I would say the MJ was in charge, she may agree or disagree, but she started the ball rolling, so I say she was the POOPS chair person. Everyone just pitched in where they could. All worked out & we had a good time. We had said we would possibly use the Newcastle location again on an auction weekend, only because a large amount of BYCers go there & the place is good & clean with a large park. Scoots was more than happy to let us use the spot, and finding a location that allows a bunch of out going chicken toting enthusiast isn't the easiest thing to do.

Hey guys,
I have a friend looking for some lavender orph that are POL. Anyone have some? Or know who does. She seen the ones on CL, but thought if Joe or someone else had some available would be a better route.

I haven't been on since Friday, so I have a lot of catching up to do. Here is a picture of the mize's Lavender orp. He is imported and they have a really good line of hens as well. You can find their ad on Feathered

He belongs to Rod and Tab Mize. I think they still have chicks for sale. They will be at the Checotah auction next Friday, but I don't know if they're selling or buying. Hope this helps.
