***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Pardon to interrupt the convo---
I've been off for awhile and probably missed out on a bunch.
But my question is. Does anyone know anyone who has lavender AMs in OK? I am looking for some pullets (my pair ended up being two boys-my luck). I am trying to find either lav or black pullets but am having no luck.
Anyone point me in the right direction??

Well the wind sure is picking up!! Very glad it waited til I finished working outside this evening...
Okay so I will start posting the first of next week a wants/bring list for POOPS... Here is how I do this.. If you have something you want or are going to bring send me a PM and I will add it to the list.. Please.. Please.. Please do not just post it on the thread, as it is more then likely going to get missed because as we get closer to POOPS the thread picks up quite a bit.
If you see something on the Bring list that you like feel free to contact the person bringing it, if a deal is struck up between the two of you please make sure to let me know to take it off the list. Amy (CayuseRanch) is keeping track of the donations list so if you have things you want to donate please let her know. MaryJo (mjgigax) is keeping track of attendance, so send her a PM with the number and name of those who are attending with you...
I am already getting excited about 2014 POOPS!!!

I love this time of year! Yes, please PM me with your donations for the raffle, not post on thread, that way we don't get them confused with the want/bring list or they get lost in the shuffle.

It's just north of OK, but Showinbirds had lav Am. Check this thread. I thought about driving up there.

I'm still looking for a female pygmy goat, preferably recently weaned. The Tulsa/Skiatook area would be best, but a bit of a drive isn't out of the question.

Update on my sick hen. She is doing a little better after I used a syringe (needleless of course) to give her water with tetracycline in it. I've seen her drink on her own one time. So I know she is staying pretty well hydrated, but I'm worried about her not eating. Can I give her one of my husband's chocolate ensure? Just want to get some sustenance in her. I'm treating the whole flock with tetra. in their water. Y'all are real life savers for me (or chicken savers)

On another note, I took some pics, albeit not great, just wanted to share.

This is our scarecrow to keep the crows out of the chicken feed. The head is a mold of my husband's head that kept him still during radiation on his neck. I think he did a fantastic job making this.

I have 3 but they're bantam sized, I don't breed them though.
MJ's neighbor, Jack, has BBS. I have 2 hens from him I got as chicks. They're really big and lay huge eggs :-O

I never knew finding some lavs or blacks would be such a task!! I'm hoping to find someone to sell a few olderish pullets. The search goes on!

I have black Ameraucanas but won't have any old enough to sex until mid summer to fall. Only selling chicks right now, they are selling as fast as I can hatch them.
