I just popped into the blanchard auction since I live in blanchard and be forewarned there is more junk than usual. I have it on good authority that someone bought a storage unit and took the stuff up there to sell. There is tons and tons of baby chicks too. I did see one bantam hen with 5 chicks that I liked but I didn't want to stay through all the junk

Alright guys. I was just trying to be helpful and forewarn anyone traveling long distance hoping to go to the Blanchard auction and thinking it would be a short auction. I never thought anyone would go and say something to the people working there and tell them I said they didn't have much of anything there. I work with several of the people that work the auction and now my forewarning (plus addition) has caused problems for me at work. So I won't be doing that again. I literally pulled out my phone and let them read what I wrote. Not cool at all. of course they weren't mad after they saw what I really wrote

Yikes! That sounds like unnecessary drama! Your post about a mama hen and babies was actually motivation to go, but I didn't make it cause this weekend was crazy enough!
Anyway glad you got it all straightened out!

It's pretty pitiful that some people have nothing better to do. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.
