MIne do too, the duck does more feasting than any of them. Is it safe? I assume it is, but flies are so nasty I sometimes wonder. But I don't know how I would actually stop it from happening.my girls will stand by the fly bottles and pick them off as the land- ewwww....
So sorry to hear! Looks like cocci is making the rounds this spring/summer. Wonder if it is a seasonal thing - or with a seasonal influence. All birds on Sulmet as of this morning. Lost 5 so far. Found mine at Lee's on 11th. They just had the one bottle but will be ordering a replacement for it if you need to go get some.
Resisted the darling Austro;orps they had in the back.
Stay well.

In my horse/cow barn growing up we used the fly terminator traps and they worked fabulously! I need to get another.
I've seen online where you can fill the traps with a harmless bait solution and then feed the fly soup to your birds...yummo!

You can make your own fly traps out of empty soda bottles. Cut it a little above the half mark and invert the top into the bottom. Poke two holes to run a piece of string through the bottles where they come together, then you can put whatever bait inside you want.
