We have trail cameras, and haven't seen a fox or coyote close to that field yet. I think our dogs (4 of them) scare them off. My plan would likely keep the dogs away from them. They go after the easy prey. It's just tough to balance wanting happy healthy free ranging chickens with safe and alive ones! The eggs are just so much better when they have field access.
