***OKIES in the BYC III ***

In between helping Gary w/ the roof today I am working on building a drying rack for the buns, so I can harvest all kinds of good for them forage in the hard and dry it for storage for this winter, and man oh man is it hot out there!

I know it. I'm painting a coop and sooo thankful I'm not on a roof  It's hot! But there's something I really love about sweating. It's the cheapest detox ever.

Thanks Coral, but we finished this side today.  We did a metal roof, so hopefully the last one of our lives, and it was easier then shingles for the amatures for sure.  But it takes 2 to rangle the 16 foot long metal sheets.

I'm impressed!  I'm sorry I didn't realize earlier that you were doing the roofing rather than paying to have it done.

I'm impressed with all of your projects. The heat is exhausting and I hope you all stayed hydrated.

I fell asleep in my chair and just woke finish my post....there were a lot of strange words as my fingers were still on the screen...lol

Rhonda it depends on the parent breeds as ees are mixed. Bcm are slow to maturity, especially in the heat. I'd say 7-8 months if you want a decent amount of meat.
