***OKIES in the BYC III ***

@Loriemarler Yea for lockdown! I hope you get lots of babies!

@Ksane I am LOVING your pigeon set up. That looks great. Those pigeons are way toooo cute. What will you do with them? I'm picturing the most beautiful messengers ever.

I can't wait to be where I can have roosters. I'm hoping one of my swedish flower hen chicks (3 just hatched :woot ) will be a rooster, and maybe even one of the EEs from @Kyzmette I have so many girls and could definitely have a few roosters now. Not sure about silkies tho because I have 2 that refuse to let me figure out what they are, but @ksane if you have a rooster that would do well with bantams and LF I would gladly take it off your hands! You've made my week taking in the ducks. If you don't have 1 I might be interested in one of your blue silkies. A ruggedly handsome one :)

Who are you getting yours from? It would be funny if it was the same person I got mine. Lol

Well only 3 of the 6 SFH eggs made it to lockdown. I also have 1 of my cochin mix eggs in there so here's hoping for 4 chicks in a few days.

@cathiesue is hatching them out for me! I am so excited. Her birds come highly praised and I love the colors of SFH. And :fl for 4 babies!

I'd like to let the Modenas hatch a few but I don't have any plans to breed them. They breed too fast and we all know I can't hardly part with anything :-( I'd end up with hundreds of pigeons, just like chickens. I want to keep mainly just the 6 pairs I've got because they're so easy to take care of when there's not so many.
I suspect it'll take all of 1 hatch to get all the roosters you can handle lol You're more than welcome to one of mine but they do wear the feathers off the girls. That's why my boys are in bachelor yards. The boys that do have girls have like 20-40 girls each. I can't stand for my girls to have their feathers worn off :-(

Was the guy in Blair, OK named RogKat or something like that? I bought eggs from him and 10/11 hatched.

@Kassaundra ....when I'm done smacking you I'll hug you. I'm going to look at a solid black Holland Lop tomorrow and will probably get him, he's a baby. The cutest thing I've ever seen!!! Then my husband found one he wants to look at that shouldn't get over 3 lbs either. Jeez.
