***OKIES in the BYC III ***

@NanaKat did they give him something for the nausea? When I was having bad nausea issues I swore by Ondansetron... the stuff is a lifesaver. You can get it in a pill that dissolves on the tongue. Why in the world they give you pills you have to swallow when you feel like you can't swallow anything, or have trouble keeping anything down once it is swallowed, is beyond me.

Ksane and Nanak, sorry for the sicknesses, Mitzi take care of yourself, and Nanak, sorry about the chemo, I didn't remember hearing he was going to need it, hope it goes well for him. The side effects are evil for sure, but hopefully it is going to be harder on the ca then him.

The doctor started Roger on Methotrexate for his psoriatic arthritis which has become full-blown. The low dose steroids had not worked on putting the pain and swelling back into remission. So now the oral chemo has started in addition to the Dexamethasone. He has had early stage skin cancers silver nitrated off several times a year...now they think it may have been pa all this time.

I'll check in to that. He can't take the Omeprazole for his heartburn because it increases the symptoms.

I hope everyone is feeling better. Prayers for all.

Do you know what kind of bantam this is? I'm actually not big on bantams, but this one might change that. He is quite the character...lets me pick him up without even a squawk, crows for everyone to get back in the coop, and walks around like he owns the place. On bantams, how do they handle cold weather (they seem to handle heat just fine)? I have 4 (male Gold Sebright, female Buff Orp-maybe, and a black female) I don't mind keeping them (especially this guy), but am not big on bringing them into the house for the winter.

@NanaKat your egg puzzle has me stumped. I assume that the air cells are forming normally? You do your own necropsies, right? Since it seems like the chicks are unable to turn themselves for some reason, can you do a comparison of egg size to chick size?

Okay, another job for the fabulous plantgeeks! This looks almost like a plum, but they're too blue. Is this that northern blue goose plum thingie? Or is it some mutant hybrid juniper plum?
