Awww I live south of Siloam Springs. I'm about 2 hours away though. I have 3 white leghorn pullets I'm not needing. They haven't started laying yet but it won't be long!

Yeah that's a bit too far for me. Thanks for the offer though! In case I change my mind though how much are you asking? I'm going on vacation soon for a couple of weeks so I'm not wanting to get them immediately anyway.

A few sprouting pics (and mitzi, yes some bunnies)



1 cup of seeds makes this many sprouts, plus the ones still stuck to the bags (behind the measuring cup) for a chicken treat



Seeds + water + 4 days = sprouts

They all LOVE sprouts, it is their favorite hands down

Anyone know where to get a few started pullets? I'm in the Tulsa area and don't want to have to drive too far just for chickens. Chicken math is getting the best of me already and I'm ready to add a few new members to the flock!

Depending on where you are I'm about 30-45 minutes south in Coweta. I have some young pullets available. $20 for a blue egg laying Sapphire (Cream Legbar X White Leghorn), she just started laying about 2 weeks ago, and then some that hatched just before Easter so they should be laying in about 6 weeks, Cochins and Cochin crosses $15 each. Might have some Easter Eggers, will be green egg layers $12.50, I have to check the pen to see if there are any girls left. Also some sexlinks a little younger than that batch, they vary from pure black to black with brown flecks all over them, they should lay an olive or green egg $12.50. All have a crest on their head like this one.

WOW! Those are beautiful. How much do pelts go for? Do you sell yours? I may be interested in a month or so.

I am open to selling them. I have been thinking about it. I was thinking $2-$8 per pelt depending on age and quality. The silver fox fur is awesome! The champagnes hold a special place for me. I love them so much. I'll be breeding again soon. Just waiting on it to cool down.

I'd love a Silver Fox, Yara. I turned down a Black a few wks ago, I've got to get caught up with the spaying and neutering and the Bun yard. There's a brown/Black color i really like a LOT. I'll go find out the color and see if you may be expecting one that color. I've gotten too many too fast but dang, I love em'. I've got English Lops, French Lops, a Holland Lop, Lionhead, AngoraX, a darling tiny Polish and 2 Rex/Hotot mixes. I'm supposed to be getting a French Angora in 3-4 wks, I'm excited

Im hoping to buy the skins from already killed rabbits. I could use them with some moccasin lining and dollhouse projects. I know I could never raise them to kill in my family, but I could use a few pelts.

We do raise them to preserve the breeds and for 4h but we do also eat them. The slogan is breed the best and eat the rest! I'm trying to learn to tan hides. I have 5 in the freezer. We try to use everything from the rabbits we process. Very little is wasted.
