***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Now that I know who to contact for silkies, I am looking for bantam cochin breeders. Suggestions? We just love our Partridge couple!

Are you trying to eat them when they are still in rigor?  8 week old chicks shouldn't be tough no matter how they were raised.

I've been wondering about this. I get the science of rigor. However, I remember eating chicken as a kid that was processed that day, and it was good! How is this possible?

@KSane, I'm sorry for your losses, but am glad the LB's were survivors! Thank you, it's been a life changing experience, for the better really.

@NanaKat *hugs* good luck with your surgery! I'll pray for success & fast healing!

To everyone, thank you for the encouragement. Unfortunately, this cancer & breast cancer are the TWO most painful types to treat. It is a battle of the will making yourself climb into a machine that's built to burn & cause major pain with the hope it will kill these naughty cells!

I will appreciate all of you SO much more next year when I come to POOPS

Ya'll take care ... Remember, life could always be worse! Don't take it for granted & don't let the sun set on your anger.

Blessings'

I hatched out 6 LF Salmon Favarolles from shipped eggs this spring and 3 made it and they are all three pullets that are about 5 months old. Does anyone know where I could possibly find a LF Favarolles Rooster close to the Tulsa/Broken Arrow/Coweta area like the one in the picture. The roosters are absolutely beautiful.
