***OKIES in the BYC III ***

First guess is possum, second would be skunk.  Other possibilities are coon or owl.
I never see owls during the day but regardless, traps are coming out for the others!
I've never known anything that just ate the head. One head was gone except for the beak, the head bitten off cleanly, the other I would have suspected a snake because it was kind of crushed but the head wasn't missing. They were side by side when I found them.

As far as the head being missing have you thought about a coon!
 
thats not oklahoma, but NC, so we are still safe..:)
I'm sure one of these days we'll have "chicken tags " that they have to wear around their little necks

LOL My 9yo son was asking yesterday if we could get collars for his chickens. I asked him why, he said he can't tell his two red naked neck hens apart LOL. I told him I would put a colored band on their legs so he could tell them apart!
 
A water works employee cut a line around eleven. We're without water, and I'm carrying ice blocks from the chest freezer to the birds. I hope the water comes back on soon. It's too hot out there without drinking water.
