What's going on in Shawnee?Yes, I'll be coming to Shawnee. I nearly didn't get in because they filled up before the deadline. But they were able to add more cages, so I squeaked in. I'm bringing a few youngsters, including some showgirl silkies. Hoping to see a lot of people there I already know!

It's always a nice show and sale. Not quite as big as it used to be when it was two days. Not as many out-of-state people come now, but it will be pretty full. Plus, there's usually a big pigeon show in the other end of the Expo building. I had no idea there were so many kinds of beautiful pigeons!
I'm sorry for those of you who lost pets. It seems to have been a hard year for them.
I want to try making a chicken plucker this winter. GRIT magazine has an article but it requires 12" PVC. Any other ideas or plans?
I got my wife a yorky puppy for her birthday. The only thing I asked was please not on the bed or furniture. That lasted about a day.
I seem to have cut way down on my predator problems with an electric fence about 6" off the ground. Not one of those wimpy ones either. This one is tied into one I use around a 5acre pasture.
