***OKIES in the BYC III ***

A selfie with my new rooster, Henry. He is a Chocolate Cuckoo Orpington. I have 6 Chocolate pullets/hens and 3 Mauves. Henry is already bigger than the hens but still growing. He doesn't even have stubs for Spurs on his legs yet. Friday I took him to My neighbor Jack's to show Jack my new bird. Henry bit my arm and held on, leaving a bruise. By the walk back home he was snuggling in my arms and now offers me treats when I go to the quarantine pen. I love Orpington's personalities; so calm and curious. I really am happy with the three breeds I will be hatching this year- Lavender Bantam Cochins, Showgirls/Silkies and Chocolate/Mauve/Cuckoo Orpingtons- plenty of personality all around!
I forgot! I am breeding More Blue/Black/Splash Marans and Olive Eggers too. I got a Beautiful Splash Marans roo this past Saturday. He is great too. Got to get his pictures to post!

Well the plan is to drive to San Diego Wednesday.

Joye wants us to drive the pickup, she says we might hit weather. But she's just being sneaky, she doesn't want to put 4000 miles on her car. LOL Her car gets 3 times the gas mileage my pickup does.

-could still be a girl? Since Jack's tom died one of the three hens has be strutting around with her tail up and spread like a tom. Maybe you hen is doing that?
