***OKIES in the BYC III ***

@Kassaundra I guess it would make them an easier poultry to keep if you are allergic to feather dander and the dust mites that feed off it. I grew up having birds in the house. Mostly exotic birds. The allergies were unreal! Thank you for sharing this with us.

Oh, that's true. But it still gets pretty cold here in Oklahoma, will they be able to keep warm?

I make clothing for them for cool and cold weather, they wouldn't be able to survive here w/o clothes.

Phyllis went broody so this was a maternity dress I came up with.

They get so mellow dramatic when they first get put in clothes

Ah, I see. I don't think my chickens would ever let me put clothes on them... Though I think Yellow (my misnamed cross rooster) would look nice in a chicken tux :p .

Was making lemon poppyseed muffins when I cracked the egg and it was only the equivalent of half of one LOL

Very creative! My mom makes chicken diapers for one of her pet serama hens so she can run around the house without leaving poo all over the floor. She makes them from child sized socks. It's more cute than it sounds, and if she sits in my lap there's no mess.

I didn't make any diapers but I finally got by bantam Cockrals ready for the freezer. Going to smoke a couple along with a hog Sat. A practice run in the new pit for the wedding in Oct. The other hog should be a lot bigger by then.
