***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Going to hold off setting out my tomato and pepper plants...hail predicted with the rain.
Moving eggs to the hatchers tonight....ducks for one hatcher and chicks for the other.
Lost Roger's great aunt...95 years young.

Love this photo. "Where did you find the coat and hat?"
Maryjo, you and Joe have certainly been thru so much! Prayers for you both.
Congrats on the Silkies.

I thought about a few from the other chick's view. "Ooops wandered on the wrong beach again!", "What life is like w/ a toddler", "I didn't know it was THAT kind of party"

Chicks will be hatching in the next few days....including ducks.
Our ponds are filling up with the rains.
Lucy and Goosey have a nest in the pasture with the spring calves...so far just one egg, but Lucy has made a nice nest.
A heifer is calving tonight with her first calf....we will be watchful til it pops.

Hi! This is my second year of having chickens. I started off small with 3 hens and a roo. This year I'm looking to add a few more breeds. I'd like someone local if I may. I currently have all bantams and would prefer to keep it that way as I don't have the room for large fowl use yet. I'm currently on the hunt for: Millie fleur ducciles (spelling?), silkies preferred splash blue paint even black, polish, frizzle Cochins, and Cochins. If anyone can please point me in a good direction I'd appreciate it!
