***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Ordered 1/2 inch hardware cloth from the local lumber yard in Lexington, and we can pick it up in OKC ourselves today or tomorrow. Last couple of snakes in the coop got "marked." If they don't come back before they shed, they get relocated. Repeat offenders will not. If they come after my chicks, no free pass.

Ive had trouble with snakes this year too!

I moved the boxes out of the coop, I read snakes dont like amonia, so I spray the outside, I havent lost more birds, I cant let them kill my birds. I'm so fed up with them yuk

Ive read peppermint oil is good for getting rid of them too.

Hello, everyone. I'm in Yukon and am very interested in finding people who will split an order with me. Specifically, I'm hoping to order some California Whites, although I'm probably flexible. I'd also be interested in Easter Eggers and/or Americaunas, as well as one or two Black Copper Marans.

Mine are great. I put fresh dry bedding in their coop before the snow so they coukd dry off well in there.

I have a few outdoor covered areas with chopped straw for them to hang out in with food if they get tired of the cold during the day. They don't seem to mind the snow at all though
