You need to do what I did Monty,go out and pull nine newly hatched NNs out of the nest. They will surely put a smile on your face! No completely bare ones but almost all have just barely a little tuff on the neck,I doubt it will even be big enough to call a half tie! And of course with the bare neck look it makes the rest of their body look like a ball with legs! Cute,cute!

Good Morning Friends,

So looking forward to poops, I keep having to restrain myself from buying chicks at the COOP and looking at the farm and garden section of Craigslist...lol.

Gotta save the money for the real deal this Saturday.

I ended up moving one of the chicks back to Rosanne, she was so distraught as soon as I moved the baby to the nest she went to the nest gathered up the remaining eggs and the chick under neith her and seems very very content... so I moved some food and water her way and have "closed her up" so she can be in peace.... Poor thing... I feel bad... hopefully now she will stop fretting. We do still have one chick in the house with us and he is chilling out....

Anyhoot... anyone hear from Jere Man at all as of late? is him and his beloved wifey come to poopsie? Been trying to see who is all still active BYC folkies and those that have gone MIA...

I have two new chicks from one of the broodies. Funny thing is another hen stole them, the mom is still on the nest.

Side note: Yes she is still in with the other because she is an evil mean hen when setting & I didn't have the determination to move her.

Morning all

I am so wanting some more bare neck chicks, of all my birds I only have 2 hens and the roo that are bare,but I have a bunch of eggs in the bator so I will keep trying until my flock is completely bare.

Sure sounds like everyone is going to have a good time at Poops.
Cowboy, that is a great looking cover. Hope you get to make a couple with other breeds.. An Ipad cover would be cool to have.

You might consider a saddle that protects the wings too.

Or remove the roo for a while.
