FFA Banquet tonight... DS is President and it's his senior year so we get to sit at the front table...

Then tomorrow... packing up the cages and boxes and heading for POOPS!

Found out this morning why I don't lose my free-rangers to the local Coyotes. When they come up the girls all run out to the horse pen. Hotshot will kill anything but chickens and Emily, the wife's Airedale. Emily is exempt because the night Hotshot was foaled she slipped her collar and helped Uno clean him up then stood guard over the two until sunrise. No better bond then that!

Could not get a shot at the Coyote due to the number of houses now around here, time to find a new spot to hang our hats.

Jeez... I SURE HOPE I CAN MAKE IT THERE BEFORE ALL THE CHICKS AND HATCHING EGGS ARE GONE!

I plan to bring all my extra silkie roos, baby runners, runner hatching eggs, BB Red hatching eggs and whatever else I can fit in the back of my honey's truck.

Not much room becasue it's a company truck and has a diesel tank and tool box.

The back seat will have my two grandkids.

They love chickens too.

I have a small minature Schnauzer. Can she come to POOPS?

Good morning okies, hopefully everyone got the needed rain. I have just hatched out about 25 b/b/s ameraucanas and also some pure white ones.

Cant wait to go to Poops and see everyone, meet new people and buy more chickens.

Good Morning All!

There are no issues with anyone bringing thier dogs. All are welcome.

I Can't hardly wait! The majority of the folks are going to show up tomorrow.

If anyone needs anything during their stay here, I will try to help, since I only live 3 1/2 miles from the Poops location.

Gotta start fixing things today for POOPS on Saturday. Putting Chicken in slow cooker for the Old Fashioned homemade dressing I promised.

Hope everyone had a blessed Thursday. I know alot of folks will be busy packing. Please be careful.

She's a very good girl and kids just love her.

Everywhere she goes people say "oh what a cute dog"

We didn't have her ears and tail cropped.... and I give here a cowboy cut instead of the regular schnauzer cut.

Still I may make her stay home..... even though it would break her heart.

Morning everyone,

Get the joy of running errands and making an appointment now to have blood work and a CT scan done (Dr called and said that I have cysts on the kidney and just want to get a more thorough check on my body just to make sure there is nothing funky going on

even though cysts are not uncommon.. but because I am having a constant dull pain with occasional sharp pain and tender ness around my side its for preventive measures really.. knowing my luck they will say I need a brain transplant... .... and instead of giving me a really smart persons brain I will get stuck with a bird brain.. lol

I am getting worried about them remaining turkey eggs... they are progressing really well and I found Rosanne off the nest this morning because her baby decided to walk away from her and get out from the gate.. and even though I put the chick back in the nest box and rosanne went right in there and re laid on the eggs ...( I went ahead and enclosed them so the chick cant escape... but I am worried she is gonna kill them eggs with her getting off now twice to "rescue" her baby from going to far... UGGG!
