Sooner your proclamation reminded me of a funny story about me in basic emt class, years ago. First let me say I was raised by very conservative grand parents. So I'm sitting in class and almost everyone else there has some medical background (I did not) and some are nurses who work in the er. They are relating a story about the previous evenings excitement in the er, and they are talking about a homeless drunken man that was extremely combative and how they had to wrestle w/ him to disrobe him to do the medical exam, and in the middle of all the comotion they come to realize he is "covered in crabs". I am listening very attentively to the story when I become quite confused

first of all I couldn't figure out where in the middle of a land locked state anyone could come in contact w/ so many crabs, then if he did I couldn't figure out how anyone would fail to notice!!!!!

After I asked these questions it was some time before anyone could stop laughing long enough to explain what a crab was!!!!!!

Yeah my DD reminds me everyday that she is almost as talk as me. LOL. It was very nice meeting you, would of liked to chat longer but didn't want to keep you & lots to do at home to get ready to go. Sorry your day didnt' get better!

They eat cat food and almost any fruit or veggie scrap you care to give them. Is she thinking about raising some?

We Okies sure are a bunch of addicts when it comes to the NNs. I bought 4 dozen NN hatching eggs last Saturday at Cement - from Carla and Gerald's birds - and want more. Chickensandmore/Don is sending NN hatching eggs to folks at POOPS - via donnie's vehicle, donnie is hoping for NN eggs from Tennessee, Monty is bringing NN chicks to POOPS, the high dollar item at the auction may well be the tooled leather folder with a NN on the front that was made by Old*cowboy, vegetarianchick wants Pepper to get a NN and transport it North for her, Peaches and I have a long running game at the auctions regarding who will bid on the NN hens, and the list goes on

...and Nava is still looking for a White NN!

I don't know if she is or not but she sure had a good time showing them to her brother. He said yuck & she doesn't seem like they bother her.

I don't have everyone on there, but we have more than 190 backyard or farm chicken owners on this thread. That doesn't begin to cover the number of BYC'ers in OK, though.
