Good morning all. Still so dang sore cant hardly move from all the moving this weekend. But thats cool, I will just set outside in my lawnchair and watch my chickens.

Doc when you went north out of Fletcher back to Cyril, (if it was still light) did you see all those big sorrel draft mules on the west side of the road just on the south side of Cyril. Teach now that school bout out, are you farming this summer. Well I will talk at you guys later.

Well I see the forum has slowed down a lot since the big event, guess everyone is still tired from all the excitement. It's hard to believe for as much looking around as I did I STILL missed some things! Did I see on here that TEACH had brahma banties?!? Man! I woulda liked to get my little paws on those! But I think I brought home more than my limit anyway :-/ I'm glad Caleb was so distracted by that rabbit that he didn't notice me buying more than planned

well everyone is home now and very comfy in their new little areas and getting accustomed to me.

Hmmm I've also got a question. I bought a banty hen that has a deep and almost gurgling cluck. She looks and acts otherwise healthy and I know they can have dif voices but I was wondering what I should be watching for if she is sick. I have her w the other grown birds I bought, should I totally isolate her?

If you think there is a chance of her being sick I would isolate her. It won't hurt anything to be safe.

edit to add, pick her up & see if you smell anything around her mouth or head too.

I am not the one to really help you on that part. Hopefully NN will be on soon. I would also tell you to now keep all those other birds away from any of yours until you are sure they don't get sick. You can try to PM NN.
