This was my first time at POOPS.
I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all the folks who made it possible.
and a special thanks to Beth and Monty for the BIG WELCOME and Glad you came greeting they gave me.
I'd also like to say THANKS to Betsyok for the lovely pair of Lavender Silkies she sold me! Sure wish I'd seen those Showgirls.
I'd have bought them also.
Also Thanks to Grace for the pair of lovely silkie hens, and the hatching eggs I bought.
Also Thanks to OkCarla for the hatching eggs I bought from her.
My grandkids really enjoyed the magic show. It was the highlight of the day for them. So, thanks to whomever did that!
I would however like to make a suggestion on the raffle part of POOPS....
I think it would be more efficient if they took a large box taped it shut, cut a small slit in the top and everyone put their tickets in it. Then when it's time to start the raffle SHAKE the box, cut another hole in it big enough for the kids to reach in and draw a ticket. Then whoever has the winning ticket gets to go up and pick the prize they want.
Do this until all the prizes are awarded. If folks wanted the prizes could be wrapped and then you'd have to take a chance on what you might be getting.
It would save so much TIME and give everyone a better chance at winning
along with not worrying about tickets/sacks blowing away, ect....
All in all it was a good day and the food was GREAT!
