My first broody hen off the nest had hatched 6 leaving 2 eggs cold in the nest last night, When I got off work I went and checked and she has adopted 2 from the other Hen that was still in the nest I took her out and put 8 more chicks on the ground with her so they have 8 each now for 16 total they are soo cute LOL, She still had 6 eggs that I brought in and candled all 6 have movement in them so they are in the incubator now, No idea how far along they are they must have been laid by other hens after she started setting, I'm not putting them on the turner just setting them in the bottom so I have my fingers crossed, I guess thats all the more reason to have seperate hatchers without turners just to be a little more flexable in a case like that. I also have 2 more hens going broody, I will have to set some eggs in nests and hope they take to them.
