It is funny how our birds don't appreciate any change in the routine.

A "roof" fell off a cage that is home to a NN trio I have in quarantine. One is trying to figure out how to roost in the window, where she can see the light. Guess I will have to get a net and put them back, now that it is dark enough that they won't try and run me all over the yard to catch them.

Found a suspiciously plump rat snake in one of the brooders tonight.

Since it did not get the one madacascar chick that was in there and I was wearing gloves and had a 5 gallon bucket handy, it was rehomed safely to the garden (not sure what it ate, but the madagascar is safe)

What? Didn't save it for Teach? You could put it in the fridge for a day or two to slow the metabilism down and then ship it with a couple of cold packs.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein

If that is accurate I think I may be in trouble!!!

I just want to say that I don't like tornadoes! Nor do I like 90 mile per hour winds!

Hope Chantecler, Goldie, Mandrake, Rainbow, and Sweety don't get blown out of the coops!

By the way, Chantecler and Goldie is what my girls named our Modern Game pair and Mandrake, Rainbow, and Sweety is what they named our trio of Muscovey ducks.

I wonder what would happen at the post office if it were to get out of its pillowcase and box?

I imagine that Homeland Security may pay you a visit. But I also once read that UPS will ship reptiles but I don't know if they still do.

don't know the answer to your question, but she posted at 7:19 this evening. What time did the storm move throught that area?

I think it went through Haskell about ten minutes ago, after it left here. I know they're out of power.
