***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Just talked to Jerry and the Blanchard auction is a definate go for Saturday May 28. The storm remained about 3 miles from the auction barn.
So, who plans to be at Blanchard this Saturday evening?

With all of the storm damage around Blanchard, i wonder if they are still having it?

As far as I know the auction is still on, may contact Auctionlover to be sure. The damage to Blanchard is in the northern part, up by The Norman spur of h.e. Baily turnpike.

Everything that HAD to be planted got planted, it has been 3 days of hard labor in the garden, and I'm still way behind.

All the potatoes are at 3 tires high now. I still have several garden spots to prepare and plant out, guess that will be next weeks project, and mowing.

Too bad all of you "tire planters" are so far away. A lucky reciepient could awake some morning with a big pile of used tires on your front lawn!

Awesome dreams!
In my nightmares I am often trying to keep tracks of cats and kittens or dogs but lately the animals that I need to protect in my dreams have become chicks!

Well not really. I'm just brooding it. Jack bought and hatched 5 dozen eggs that were RIR and Black Sex-links but when he opened the hatcher one chick was a NN!
DH's cousin in Texas was asking about NNs and thought they were 1/2 turkey. Anyway she wants to get some hens of some breed and if she dosen't want this NN I'm sure someone around here will want it. It is a buff and has a little bow tie.
Of course I am only keeping Cochins so little NN is only a guest here. Keeping it would be dangerous - breaking a rule that keeps me believing the illusion that my chicken addiction is not out of control.
