Good Morning Okies! It looks like it will be fairly nice outside so I will be working on the inside of the house and the outside today. Carl has already started hanging some of the feeder that we need to get off the ground. And I am currently working on laundry
Coffee in hand... tv going... playing on the laptop.
Today we are going to clean out hubbies closet. He has tons of clothes he never wears anymore and his side is packed!
Then, we will go out to the garage and clean out hubbies working/study room.
I don't mind at all getting things like this done on a day off... it makes me feel productive and at the end of the day there is such a pleasant tiredness. LOL
Im always off... Im a stay at home mom. I think because of that I do twice as much. I dont remember having my days so full when I worked. I run the errands for my SIL and one of my daughters since they work on top of mine.
Carl is not aloud to ready what i post again...LOL. He made so comment about aint that the truth for my typing "Im always off".... Some supportive husband...LOL
Congrats Lynn - Kudos to Aaron. (Did you trim your beard in that photo?!)
Shavon - praying for Jordan and your family - and that all your peeps are taken care of while you're gone.
okracefan - so sorry about your pens and I'm glad you didn't lose your birds too. Still praying for all the people damages by the 2011 Tornado Swarm.
NanaKat, I've enjoyed reading about your pigeon visitor.
I have been digging the good organic dirt out of the compost pile and putting it in a #3 washtub for the chickens to dig through and clean all the bugs out of it, then I'll use it to pot flowers and to dress the garden veggies. I didn't plant much this year. Yesterday I put up the cucumber trellis yesterday and weeded that bed while Jack tore down an old wire perimeter fence that needs to be replaced. We went to Charlie's Chicken for supper, and when we got back I went out to pull a few more weeds and noticed a couple of cukes had already grabbed onto the trellis - they are smart plants! I keep finding and flagging little volunteer tomatoes and will transplant them when they get big enough. I'm hoping I get some volunteer okra this year, but haven't seen anything come up yet... I've let a few onions go to seed because they are so cool looking in the garden with their fluffy white flowers/seed heads on the tall stalks.
