I was worried about her rubbing it raw...you might consider the gel superglue, every week or so....

Got Game, i Got a question. How do you dub the roos?

With very sharp scissors

Well the little Spunky chick is still hanging in there. I've had to resort to hand feeding it a gruel made from chick starter, yogurt, water and honey. It gets fed every three hours and is pooping normal poos. Hubby thinks when it's grown, it will be wrapped in a towel sitting on my lap or on my chest in the recliner. It's in my lap now, whisper cheeping itelf to sleep. Won't go to sleep unless it is wrapped in a washcloth. In the brooder Spunky crawls in under a cloth and curls up next to a rolled up cloth. No buddies can be found...Atwoods in Shawnee bought the Wholesale Drug next door and is renovating the expansion...

I'm going to have to try the mirror trick in the brooder box. When Spunky is up and running around it is on the one good foot and the "knee" of the other leg. Boy it is FAST!!

When Spunky is getting loud before a feeding our big dog Red sits with his nose up against the glass and whines in response. Red has to sniff Spunky when I get it out to feed it.

Right now Red is laying under my chair and when I look at him, he has one eye open.
