Good morning all. My incubators exploded while I was at work yesterday. I now have 29 baby chicks and 2 poults. There are still several eggs in the incubators. I'm not gonna start worrying about them just yet. Tomorrow is day 21. My DH was a good guy last night. I was already passed out by the time the storms hit. When we lost power, he wrapped the incubators in blankets for me and did what je could to keep the hatchlings warm. I need up losing at least one baby over night. It had pipped and zipped, then died. I'm not sure of it was from the power outage or if it wouldn't have made it anyway.

I like Five Finger Death Punch's cover of "Bad Company", maybe better than the origional. Most of their music is a little too heavy metal for me. I listen to alot of different kinds of music, right now I am on an old school kick - Temptations. Wonder if my chickens would mind if I played some while I am doing chores?

Can someone direct me to where I can find information about where the poultry sales are and when (in Oklahoma)? I have some feeders, waterers, and chickens that I would like to take somewhere.
