I haven't had good luck with tomatoes for the past few years. The same thing you're describing kept happening to me, three years in a row, so I didn't plant any this year.

I was at Alva Walmart and they had some tomatoe plants that had several little ripe yellow tomatoes on them. I ate several off the vine, probable as close as I will come to vine ripe all summer. Wonder if eating off of tomatoe plants is a shop lifting offense.
As a kid, when I'd go grocery shopping with my parents, we would sample produce like bananas and grapes. It was common practice then, but nowadays people would be shocked to see someone doing that.
Hope everyone and their critters stays out of this horrid heat..... I noticed many of you talking bout having no tomatos......good to find I am not alone.have huge beautiful blooming plants.with no fruit.... my garden didnt stand a chance in this horrid heat and the cute little cottontail....
I lost 5 chickens and a duck yesterday to a mass killer coyote, I dont think I have ever had one just kill kill kill and not eat them? I was out there when he got to some of them ,looking for him this morning.but he isnt around. Has anyone else had this experience.....? Stay safe to those who have to be out in this heat......
Our tomatoes seem to be doing fairly well. Lots of blooms and several green tomatoes coming on. Nothing ripe yet, but we did get them set out pretty late in the year. We are watering them, of course.
On a different note, does anyone have experience with Big V Feeds in McAlester? I have a friend at work who swears by it and I just started feeding their All Way Kernels yesterday. They seem to like it so far.

Only a few green ones, mostly on my Goliath hybrid. I'll really be bummed if this summer garden turns out like last year's. I am getting alot of eggplant though.
