***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Top story on the news --- July 2011-- hottest month ever for Oklahoma.

Can't imagine what is in store for us this coming month. Hope this week isn't foreshadowing what is to come.

Fort Smith broke a record for high for today from the 1800's. The weather for this week was quite depressing several 110 days all were over 100 no rain in sight.

Terrible day, came home from work to find 49 large cochins dead from the 110 degree heat we had today. This is the worst day I have had in my nearly 40 years of raising poultry! Please dear God, send us some relief!

Blessings,

Bo

You know I will say that when it is 930pm and it is still a breezy 101 outside, while it is horrible I have not seen a mosquito all summer. I guess its due to the lack of water and the fact that they just internally combust at 110. I guess when you can't find hay or water you have to look at the little things for the bright side.
