Yes, I am planning to go to Cement this Saturday and almost always have honey in the van. The warm temperature keeps it from getting solid. Of course in these temperatures, I might need to be concerned that the high temperature in the van could pasteurize it.

Yes I am glad you mention the description list, form says use description list for breeds, where is this here description list

The Dept of Ag tester should have a booklet that has all the breeds listed. There is a number code for each breed/color. I would just guess that all they really need to know from you right now is about how many birds you have that are over 4 months and whether they are "chickens," "guineas", "turkeys", "ducks", "pheasants", or "peacocks." Right now, I suspect they are mainly trying to determine how much time the testing will take.

I agree I have luckily only lost 2 so far, I can't imagine loosing 49. Although the other day at work when I was out on the boat the thermometer which reading are suppose to be accurate to .01 degrees, showed 146. I think air temp was 113, then the extra from the water reflection, and I still have no tan.

The weather man said that when the air temperature is 100 degrees, the temperature on the astroturf, where the football players are practicing, is about 160 degrees. Ouch!

The average daily temperature during July was 107 in Lawton and 104 in OKC.

PB I hear you. I'm pretty sure that not a single wing has ever touched a breast on my birds in the last two months, feel sorry for them my arm$ get tired after holding them up for ten minutes. I can't imagine doing it all day. My pens just sound like a dog orchestra with all the rhythmic panting.

We have been knocking off at about noon. Today at 11:30 it was already 110 in the shop and by 12:30 it was 115 inside and 110 outside in the shade. Thank goodness for the portacool inside or we wouldn't be able to stand it that long.

We have even switched to using cutting wheels on the grinders and sawsalls to keep from using the torch in this weather. Too bad there isn't an alternative to using the welder, super glue maybe?
