I have had tenants that appeared to be good tenants do thousands of dollars in damage.

I don't know how long ago you bought your house, I was under the impression Elgin was really growing strong. Are you able to walk away even or do you have to pay out of pocket to sell the house?

Just thought I'd share, since it is too hot to be outside doing anything

Since we moved from a large house in town out to 20 acres in a single wide we have had lots of city friends over for dinner. They seem to come just to see how we managed to fit into the single wide & what all we have going on out here.

Had a couple over for dinner the other night & I made devil eggs. He was excited to see we had devil eggs & I said with all these chickens i make lots of devil eggs. He says " wow your chickens lay eggs too???"

We have 1 girl whose eye got pecked & I have her up in a coop by the house. DH went out the other day. I asked if he stopped & talk to her & checked on her. He says he doesn't talk to birds like I do
Then as he is working at the barn I catch him talking to the birds at least 3 or 4 times. So how is my talking to the birds different than his?

I'm voting that he making sure they feel he has done the th e"Honey Do" list properly so as not to have to re-do it immediately. I always double check when I think I'm done.
