Thanks. I appreciate it. After I posted this I went to check the pic and now i'm not so sure it's styrofoam. I'll try and post a pic.

The Styrofoam ones are far too small, you need a big one, you know poultry is theraputic and some of need a lot of medication.

Maybe that's why she's getting two of them?

Those will get you by, but what she really needs to get is one of the nice cabinet incubators.

I don't think anyone could have every made me believe a brinesa Eco wouldn't be enough. I was figuring 1 small hatch a few times a yr! Now I have a cabinet incubator & cabinet hatcher. Plus I am still using the Eco!!!! The cabinet hatches are not as good as the brinsea They aren't bad, but the brinesea is MUCH better. I have never gotten 100% hatch out of the cabinet but have had several in my brinsea Maybe if my birds ever pay for themselves I can try a brinsea cabinet out. For now I promise I will NOT buy anymore incubators. --- that is very easy to say now that the guineas are not laying-----

Hello OkieHomeys! I am so far behind it will take me forever to catch up....

This is the prettiest splash Ameraucana pullet Poco Pollo hatched for me this spring - looking forward to when she starts to lay.

Here is the possum that was in the henhouse last night. My Head of Security, Titus the JRT, arrested, convicted and carried out sentencing on it for being a nasty trespassing varmint. It must have gotten into the coop before I went out and shut the run door.

We have 2 that will each hold over 1500 eggs and a seperate hatcher. Everyone should have something like that, they're Great.

The sussex look very pretty. Never thought about having some of those before..... Also need to look into astralorps since someone (I think nankat) said they did well in this heat

Jarvis if I was to get into one of those giant incubators I might have to get rid of one of my kids so I could have a room just for hatching. I think I spend less feeding chickens than I do my real girls, could be an ok trade??? Guess I will just have to wait 4 or 5 more yrs until the girls are out of school & on to college.

Nah, just put the kids to work at night, they can go to school during the day and they won't need a room, they will also be very happy to get out of teh house and a real job somewhere. Just a thought.

Yes it is very theraputic, and I love every bit of it. If we can find homes for our horses I would probably be able to have tons more...lol
This person on craigslist is asking 100.00 for both incubators. I only have about 50.00. I am mainly doing it for my daughters

That's what I tell them anyway!
