wayne,
unfortunately that has become my typical day anymore, I either feel like I've been kicked in the teeth or had the end stomped on.. Now I finally get my own world and get kicked out of the solar system... I guess I am off to find a new home, thank you for the effort wayne.

Hey Lynn! whats up!

Jarvis I think it was gravity or the lack there of !Anyway it had a smashing affect!

Boy I got a sticker shock today. I have been using pureina start and grow instead of the game bird mix I buy lately. So I decided today to get a sack of game bird and give the chicks a boost. Wow! It always was the most expensive of my feeds , now its $16.75 a bag,$18.38 with tax! I am going to stretch this bag out because I won't be getting anymore of that!

Hey Wayne, if you want to up their protien why don't you boil eggs and feed them to them? Hey you want some Grey Game Stags??? Got about 5 extra!!!!

When I want to cook eggs for the girls I've been throwing the eggs whole in the blender (mine holds 21) then dump that in a microwave safe bowl (glass cleans easier then plastic) cook it for 3 min, stir then cook for another 2 min allow to cool and feed away (helps if you stir after the 2nd cook time before allowing to cool) it's real easy and doesn't heat up the house. And no mashing the boiled eggs.

They are having a blast they return to the pen I first put them in that’s where they prefer to eat and sleep but most of the day they are around the pond seemed to have found their place among the geese and other ducks just fine, I really like them and think I will part with the Rouen’s and just keep the Muscovy and Pekins, The Rouen’s out-eat any other bird I have by quite a bit, While most of the other ducks and geese will eat a bit and then go back to the pond the Rouen’s eat go drink and then eat some more and will keep repeating this till they can hardly walk without flipping over and a few hours later they act as if they are starving and ready to be fed again LOL

10 days ago my Cochins were 4 wks and my Silkies were 7 wks and my turkey babies 6 wks & I put them all outside. The weather kept saying it was going to stay under 100 degrees-yea right. Now I don't want to bring them in and get them used to the AC after they're used to the temps outside but I really worry. The 8' x 30' covered run is sectioned off into 3 pens while they're tiny and I've got a big industrial fan at one end and 2 smaller fans in the other 2 sections pulling wind down from the big fan. But it's so so hot out :-( They were all getting so big and needed to get out and run and play. They get fresh cold water 3 times a day and frozen corn & fruit in the afternoon to help cool them off. I didn't know how bad I'd worry about them in the heat. I wish there was a way I could've kept them inside but there's 30 of them and they got so big.

I'm pulling for her, this heat continues to be a killer. As soon as it dropped below 110 the humidity went way up, so now it feels even worse. I bet the kids won't mind sharing their bathroom with a bird for a night.
