My welsummer is still hanging on. Kids moved her from the bathtub into a wire dog crate. She is still eating on her own but she never tried to leave the bathtub so she really doesn't feel well. I will let her spend the night in the crate & offer her some breakfast in the am. Think yogurt & watermelon along with crumble

Showed dh the piece on sleep apnea surgery. He said let them experiment on a few others & see the long term results. He honestly doesn't think his sleep ap is a problem, he doesn't even where his mask except when we are both home --- and only if i beg for him to put it on. He never takes his mask with him when he is away. Nankat sounds like your hubby sleep ap is 2 times worse than mine. Was it always that bad or did it get worse with time? I don't figure my husband would under go the surgery willingly. He went to 3 drs they all said he needed knee surgery & a yr latter finally got surgery. Then last month they had to go back in since it didnt heal right. He hates dr's & Meds. One plus about the sleep ap is it was diagnosed while he is still active army, rated severe is 50% disability & 2 knee surgeries on top of that! His disability check is prob going to be bigger then his retirement when he retires in 5 yrs.

If I didn't know better I'd think you were tempting me lol! What color is he? My daughter is here with us and the 3 she's got are only 6 wks old but they're sure not acting like males. I wouldn't mind a male at all but I'm paranoid about bringing in strange adult birds with my Cochin and Silkie babies here. Awful tempting though......let me know what color he is.

I am planning on it, I am also trying to get moved to Arapaho to be closer to my folks (dad is bad off in nursing home, mom dont drive). So if one dont cancel out the other I am hoping to go.

Cuban I seen your post on the asils. I got several hatched this year and it is a nightmare. I have young pullets and stags stuck in every available dog crate, pet taxi, anything that will hold one comfortable till I start culling. I discovered once you have several on the floor of the brooder house, it is not wise to drop a younger hatch down with them. But I cant complain, I have several that are really starting to stand and look like asils.

Sounds like your husband is like me, I make Molly do the push mower here too

Just kidding, I have had some of the self propeled before and loved them. I have just a regular push type now though. Was at an estate sale and they sold a near new (used twice) push mower for next to nothing. As much as I like self propelled, I like a bargain better. Now with that said, Ethan did most of the push mowing and he is gone to school now. I am looking to envest in small herd of goats.
