Thanks, I will check into it. I am wanting a red shouldered yoko just for runnin loose, and the fayoumis are supposed to be able to prety much completely take care of themselves as long as they have somewhere to roost at night.

On Hwy 70 like you were going to bennington, it is just past JC potter sausage on the opposite side of the road, the sale starts at 6pm outside, then moves inside, there are usualy lots of different kinds of birds and animals along with what ever people bring to sell. Have been there until 3am a few times. You never know what will be there.
I will be taking some welsummers, easter eggers and some welsummer x rhode islands.
Hubby will want to string me up if I bring anything new home, lol, maybe not string me up, but I can already hear him saying " do you realy need that, where are ya gonna put it.

I replaced my Kenmore 10-Stitch with a Singer Fashion Mate. It's intuitive, the tension control is spot on, and I love the onboard computer that allows for instant stitch pattern changes. After lurking on a sewing thread for a few days, I decided that the Singer was going to be able to do everything I needed.

That phrase made me think twice.

Has anyone ever planted the no till seed mix from tractor supply ? ( the kind for wildlife)
This year we are trying it a winter cover crop for the chickens, was wondering if it does as well as winter wheat.
Guess time will tell, just seemed odd to toss it out there, rake it and water. At least it was nice and warm today and we are suppose to get rain later on this week and cooler weather.

Upce, Hope you are doing ok. DH is home with a sinus infection that led to an inner-ear infection. Takes alot to keep him home.

A stray dog has been around two mornings in a row. I ran him off both days but he came back today after I left. Our dog then slipped out of his collar. They tore up the back porch playing. Hope this dog doesn't have any interest in chickens!
