I feel your pain, I am having to cut out soy and you would not believe how many foods have soy in them! I think I am just going to have to go completely old school and make almost everything from scratch in order to cut out all soy! Anyway, hang in there, I know it's tough but I already feel a little better since clearing all of the soy out of our diet...

Jan, so glad to hear that your son is Okay!! Praying for him.

Love the photo of the little show winner! too cute!!

It's been raining here for a while. Both dogs jumped on the bed and woke us when it started with the thunder and lightening...big babies!
We have one inch now and it's raining nicely...will have more in the guage if this keeps up the rest of the morning as predicted.

Parson's Wife :

I found Silkies, local! Last night we went to visit a church (they have Tues. we have Wed) one of the members there told me she raised 'rare' breeds of chickens....with bated breath I asked, "Do you raise Silkies?" She said, oh yeah...got lots of them!

Why am I telling this? Because, she is close to the OK border...and if someone would like to check with her on the types of breeds she raises...I will pass on the # thru a PM.

Oh, I'd like to have her number, I have been looking for some silkies too.

Thanks!

Good Morning Peeps!

Finally caught up on all of the posts, enjoying the nice soaking rain this morning. I let my ducks, guineas, and game chickens free range for the first time yesterday and they did great! Everyone came back to the pen in the evening for dinner. Letting them out again today, although I don't know how many takers I will have since it is raining. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and see how everyone is doing today. I think I'll make some homemade chili for dinner tonight, loving this cooler weather!
