What started off as an idea to have about 10 chickens reached 18 very quickly and that's with giving 3 chicks to a friend. Of course after reading through these threads, I'm pretty sure that any chick that is sent to you over the amount you order, just doesn't count according to "chicken math".

There is definitely more variety if you come in the spring, but the prices are low in autumn

Yes, my MIL is one of a kind! She is one of the most loving and compassionate women I know. She is intellegent, fun loving and extremely talented. She is not just my husband's mother, but became mine when my mom died. Most of all, she is my friend.

Looks like the pullet in the second pic has perfect coloring. I am so glad they and you are together.
