***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Just got back in from nanakat's, that is always a nice trip and wonderfull woman to visit with of course she sent is home with more of her outstanding edible goodies..
She took teh Big Blue Cochin Rooster as well as the rest of Lf Columbian wyandottes, so if there is anyone interested in the Black and Blue LF Cochins hens they can now leave without the rooster..
Well back off and running have to make a trip to the Airport Post Office and send some birds to Montana for a young man to show this fall / winter.

Here are a couple of silkied serama boys from one of my color projects....

Junebug, I love those adorable little birds! And Fluffy Puffy, that baby is too cute!

Mrs. Fluffy Puffy :

Mine were not handled at all, so they're very stand-offish. I'm hoping they calm down. I've had Cochins before, and they're little angels!

The only ones that will sit on my lap and be petted are the ones I hatched. The other ones aren't tame.

The Lav hen had layed an egg in the shipping box, and the next day she layed another. I put both of them in the incubator. I talked to Stephanie (fattie), and she said she had been with a Millie Fleur Cockerel for about a week, but she didn't know if he was old enough to breed yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he was!!

I've been reading some of the mind numbing genetics threads, let's see how much has soaked in. A lav X millie fleur would produce a muted millie fleur also called porcelin right?

They make good featherdusters if you freeze them stiff.
