Barnswallow glad school is looking up! Hope the progress continues after the move.
For brackish fish I really like natures half acre in Wichita falls. I use to get salt water stuff there often. They don't stock rare stuff but they have all the basics. Plus I would always go on the day they picked up shipments to get first pick. Franks tanks in Lawton use to be the best place to get custom stuff. But he sold the retail part of the store & just went to maintaining the large tanks in Lawton -- like the hospital, car dealers, etc. Once he sold the guy couldn't keep it up. Another guy tried to start a store in Duncan. Once franks was gone. He would get some nice selection & kept the inventory up to date online, which was nice. He only lasted about a yr. I think the best selection is usually online, but shipping overnight gets expensive!!! I used to split orders with other locals & it didnt hurt as bad. Not sure about freshwater fish forums, but reefcentral has a fresh water forum & used to have a very active Oklahoma forum. They could help you find anything you needed.
I did turn some mollies & guppies into brackish / saltwater fish. Was using the guppies for feeders to my lion & puffers. Oh I do miss the tanks sometimes. Chickens can be just as relaxing. Going to keep saying that. Plus chickens provide food, my reef tanks never gave me food.
Suppose to have a busy day tomorrow, guess I should get some sleep soon.
