***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Robin glad your better! There were three roman tufted at the sale last night. They sure are pretty. I am not for sure what they brought, maybe Coral does.
The bar reds PoCo got were nice! And the barred Cochin hen was really nice. I had my eye on her and wasn't going to let her slide by but wa glad when Coral started bidding on her. That was the first LF barred Cochin I have seen.

Robin those micros are very hardy especially for heir size. Still ,they don't need to stay outside at this time of year. I think you will really like them. They might be easier for you and David to deal with than the outside birds.

poCo I guess your hubby hasn't learned his chicken math yet! Lol

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far!

Dh worked on re-wiring the well house & re-doing some plumbing.
I played with the pressure canner. Did 3 quarts of chicken broth & 7 quarts of seasoned pinto beans. It all smelled so yummy! Last yr I made large batches of beans in the crockpot & froze them to use in recipes & soups. Preasure canning was much less work & cleaner too! Think I will do some black eyed peas next. Just small jars, since I am the only one in my house that will eat black eye peas!!!!

Thanks Wayne, am really looking forward to getting those seramas home.... june is so sweet to hang on to them until i can get a chicken train going- or pick them up at shawnee.. hope i don't need to wait that long...
