That is wonderful, so glad you got it done, can't wait to see your pictures! I know how it is when the weather & everything else won't work with your plans! I seem to have that problem myself.
Catching up on posts...when is the Pryor show and directions?
Today, my DW has confirmation that I've lost my bonkers...a friend and I were up way early to drive an hour and brave the elements to go duck hunting...guess I wonder about my own sanity, lol! Didn't come home skunked though (Just cold and wet), brought home two nice birds to add to freezer camp!

ohhh i love that name!!! betcha she was a precious baby !
She was an adult rescue. The people who had her before called her lilly bud, but like I said she is a lab / rott mix and to me lilly is curvy flowing feminine and she is more of a tank. (well now she is when we rescued her she was ematiated) Anyway the name did not fit her and I didn't want to call her the same thing the people who left her to starve did, but she was a grown dog so the name had to sound similar and Little Bug just fits.
You know me, I've got pics ............................. always!
What a happy dog, (now)
Our Louie used to be Chewy. We saw that he was injured and knew he would died if he stayed at the house across the street so we asked if we could have him. They said yes and we thought we would get him healed up and give him to someone that wanted a good dog. that was 3 years ago and now we wouldn't take any amount of money for him.
Evening all! Hope no one gets hit with any real bad storms.
Had a busy day. Got another A-frame pen built, just need to add wire. Also started another one. They are actually fun to work on. Can't wait to get the wire on see the chickens in them.
Ksane were you the one talking about bantam EEs? I have a good breeding group and would be glad to send you some eggs next spring if you do any hatching. Also I think Joe has a bunch if her has not sold them out. They are my number one loved chiccken breed.I have two of the best roos I have ever had this year so hoping for great chicks next year.
Also did some moving around and brought the g.pigs inside so I wouldn't have to run a heater in the shed. It was amaseing how much that ran up the bill! Now I only have to keep two lights on out there. One for the winter chicks(what was I thinkig!
) and one for the silkied seramas. My other seramas seem to be outside hardy so far. They are fat little chunks! I'll have to play it by ear with them.
Got another Icelandic egg today!Yeah!
