A good table saw can make them into 1x4 real easy.. I always buy bigger wood than I use and rip it down to what I want. It is actually more cost effective. I like to use the term "cost effective" so no one thinks I am being cheap..

LOL, once you perfec the plans you can send them to me, when I am ready to build if I have other material that might be used I will get with you to see what you suggest. I am thinking we can use them as conditioning pens during show season. A smaller one for grow outs then moving them to the A Frames. I will have individule pens that will be 6' tall, 4' deep & 4' wide for breeding pens & possibly for LF show chickens. What do you think?

As an after thought it might be smart to just have you & the boys build it & just haul it home. lol

They make great conditioning pens, and the size will work well for LF when conditioned and washed and show ready to keep them clean. or a broody that you decide to let sit.

I am likeing the 12 hole plan I think it will work out best and most cost effective, a lot less cost per hole and more room to work with. I use them heavily with breeder trios on stuff I am working on, since the breeder numbers are smaller with multiple pens and improvement is easier that way.

If you want us to build them thats not really a problem, just let me know how many holes you want and when youwant it. So long as teh door is at least 30 inches wide and a standard height they can be put in with no problems. It takes me about 2 days to finish one out,
