The pellets are calf Manna, then you have corn, peas, milo, wheat, barley, Oats, Floating fish food, dog food, corn and maze. It should be 17-19% protien, and teh birds will love it, you should allow for some free choice calcium suplement in a seperate feeder.

You guys are awesome! What a generous offer.

Well, I figure good incubators are not cheap, patients and good candling equipment can be in short supply, I have two trays in my incubator I will not likely be using this year due to reduced numbers of birds and elimination of LF all together. This should help some who just have trouble with incubating and hatching and cover the time and materials (disinfectant) it takes.

Where did you buy this stuff? At $12.00 a 50# bag and 17-19% protein, it might be worth it for me to drive and pick up several bags. I don't know of a mill around here so am stuck buying at TSC or Atwoods...and they definitely do not sell feed at $12.00 a bag!

Oh GOOD, that sounds wonderful. I do have dishes of oyster shell next to the feeders where there are layers. It's odd that I can't really find anything on the web about it, but you know....at this point I'm not real concerned. When I read the bag for All Flock and Flock Guadian and then compare to what's in this I feel better feeding this. And they most certainly eat it better. I like the idea of actual pieces of grain instead of pelleted "who knows what" like in the feeds at Tractor Supply. I might see about mixing it also with some other kinds of whole grains. Any ideas?

This stuff is a great find, thank you! Guthrie Grain got bought out a few days ago, he said. They're not going to be carrying it anymore at that location and Harrah is the next closest place. I bought 3 bags today. He said if they liked it to come buy and get more to save myself a trip to Harrah so I'll be doing that. It's worth a trip to Harrah once a month though.

I got it at Guthrie Grain but like I said they won't be selling it much longer. You can get in in Harrah, too. I know what you mean about the TSC and Atwoods stuff, that's what I've been feeding. By the time you pay tax for an All Flock feed you've spent $20 and it doesn't look near as good as this. My birds certainly didn't eat it like they do this. Everyone was walking around with their crops dragging on the ground. I wouldn't have filled the feeders completely full if I'd have known they were going to make such pigs of themselves.

Are you by Muscogee? (However it's spelled). Because I'm positive Big V has a game cock ration that's good, too. You might check their price.

I have bunches. I raised a huge crop a couple of years ago, over 50. In fact I used a couple in a still life for my advanced students to draw today!
Even though the gourds are over 2 years old, I bet the seeds are still mostly viable. Are you coming to Shawnee?

For those who missed Blanchard last Saturday sure missed the fun of the pony carts. I put the harness on and was pulling a few people around. I guess I was Crazy LOL.
