***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Another cold start to the day, but it's supposed to warm up nicely this afternoon.

Going with my mother today to try to find her another vehicle. Hers has been on the fritz for some time and spends too much time in the shop. This will be our second attempt. The first one ended badly. She is a VERY difficult person to deal with but I warned her that her bad behavior will not be tolerated this time. We'll see how it goes this time and hope she finds a car she can live with that's within her price range. Lord help the sales people who try to help us. I've already sent prayers for them this morning.

probably is my town. At least the muddy dirt road!

Did you say you're from Krebs? Or do I have you confused with someone else?

Nevermind, I see that you are from Checotah (sp.) I didn't look before I spoke.

I try to not take anything to help with sleep because I am alone with the kids and I am afraid I won't hear them if they need me or if something happens in the house. I am lucky that I don't work out of the house, so during the day when I have to I can nap.

Upcdayz.......I will send warm, calming thoughts out for you and the sales people today.........good luck!

Yes, the longer they are on the vine the better. And when you do cut them, leave about 3 inches of the vine on the gourd. They need to dry with lots of air flow. I set mine on top of the dog pen, a big pen made from 2x4 welded wire. It's in the car port so there is air flow and protection from rain and snow.

My aunt asked a salesman "Did you say your name was Pinnochio?" when she was discussing buying a new car. We have laughed about that for years. She was really hard to please also. Hope your day goes well and you find a car your Mom will enjoy.

Sooner you can pick them and lay them next to the house or barn on the south side and they will heat up and dry out good too!

Just got back home with the taco and the cat! They are doing amasingly well. I expected them to be knocked out but they are up and around. Now if I could just get the DW better. She has been on predisone for her psoraisis and arthritis and it has torn up her stomach and her attitude! Look for her to return home early today. Its difficult trying to take care of someone who is mad at the world!

We had a glaze of ice on everything this morning, but the sun is supposed to come back today,so glad.
