***OKIES in the BYC III ***

We once had a kitten that climbed half way up our 7 foot decorated tree and then cried for someone to come get her out.... twice!

I know they were special to you and I so enjoyed hearing the stories of Angel taking Popeye in. I guess God really needed some birds this week. I think he especially needed a little blind white one named Angel.
NNN certainly lives up to her name-oh my, just look at the stink-eye on that girl. I'm in love with that little baby Cochin! Gosh, how I miss when mine were babies.
Also-I've got a home for the pigeons-thanks all!

Working in the yard some more this afternoon before it gets dark. Having to deal with the neighbor behind me who decided to drain the water off the top of his pool cover. There's quite a bit, and it's all draining into my yard. I barricaded the back fence with what wood and bricks I have, but it didn't help, so I asked the neighbor if he would redirect the water so it won't drain into my yard. His response was "It's only water." Well, that water turns to ice when it's cold, not to mention that it's dug a rut in my yard, too. Hmmph!

NanaKat - so sorry for your losses. It's hard to lose any pets, but having lost three in one day is a lot to bear. Your mama hen and her babies are adorable though.

jarvis - I sent you a PM a few days ago. Did you get it?

Ksane - those are beautiful pigeons. Hopefully they'll find a new home soon.

Went back and found it I think.. about the good ole cajun cookout? No worries, wil have gator, shrimp, crawfish, and frog legs in teh freezer for a while. Will be adding some venison soon as well. we can always have nice okie gathering over good food and cold beverages another time when we aren't pre-ocupied by poultry shows, and major breed nationals.

Sounds like a plan - except for the frog legs.

Agreed. Al can be quite entertaining.
